Art on the wall with sand in the lens
Morten Leine is a Norwegian art photographer from Lillehammer who currently lives in Moss, Norway. Education and courses in photography and various techniques in graphic art.
The main focus has been sand, and he has had a number of exhibitions in Norway, and is working on several exhibitions abroad.
In his sand pictures he faces the camera down towards Mother Earth, in distinguish between sea and land. His photographs show nature’s own art, created in that moment — forever captured. This gives him another dimension of life and opens up for new impulses. We are only a small piece of the whole. We always pursue what will happen next. So let’s stop for a while. There’s so much we can take part in. The wave is like the breath it gives us life – as the wave gives Morten a new motive.
Pure images in natural light, straight from camera to paper.
His sand images have not been manipulated. Neither do they have their own title. This is because he doesn’t want to confine, or provide a guide to what each image illustrates.
