The pictures for the exhibition were transported in their own car by ColorLine to Kiel and on to Berlin. The pictures were hung at the PharoDercks gallery on Thursday 28 October and were ready for the opening the next day.
On the opening day on 29 October, the exhibition received 40-50 visitors. And several pictures got new owners.
On Saturday 30 October, “Den Norske Sjømannskirka i Berlin» and Kjersti Hesthagen had made its own “art excursion” to the gallery with a subsequent dining. There were just over 20 people in the gallery that day. Also this day, several of the pictures got new owners.
For the gallery owners Markus and Torkjell, this was the first exhibition after Covid-19. And for Morten, it was the first exhibition in Germany.
Everyone is looking forward to the further exhibition – which is available throughout November. Open Tuesday – Saturday 12:00 – 18:00. If you’re in Berlin, feel free to stop by Gallery PharoDercks in Schönhauser Allee 58 | 10437 Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg). Check out the event on Facebook here.
