SAND at PharoDercks in Berlin
A gaze at the surf, at Mother Nature- ’s own creations, capturing the momentum, the brief moment before the next wave.
Morten Leine, Norwegian photographer born at Lillehammer, now residing in Moss south of Oslo, can look back at several successful exhibitions. The present exhibition shows authentic shots taken by natural light just the way the camera captured the motifs, then recorded on paper without editing.
The first exhibition in Berlin with Morten Leine’s sand pictures. The focus: sand! Morten Leine the discoverer sets forth to the beach and directs his camera onto the tension ¬ where shore and ocean meet and merge. There he discovers structures and pictures – nature’s work of art.
Morten works extremely fast to capture the fragile light, texture, roughness and color.
